Expect intense competition for foundation and governmental funding, with the clear advantage to applicants who present the most professional proposals.
As a retired professor of government administration (1976-2007) and a former associate professor of engineering (1973-1976), I am especially qualified to write highly technical business plans and propsals.
I am a physics graduate of Vanderbilt University and I successfully completed a Ph. D. dissertation in the electrical engineering department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have sustained an interest in matters scientific and technical. Recently I was advanced to Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
As a professor, I taught computer applications, grantwriting, fundraising, and research and evaluation to Ph.D. students in government and nonprofit management. So, I understand the social services field. I have taught and coached 300 students of grantwriting, more than anyone in Florida , I am pretty sure.
